Great Day in S.K.

We had so much fun this morning! We talked about which country we wanted to do for international day.

We decided: USA or Mexico (all of the other countries are taken...)

After that we practiced all of our sounds with the actions that we have learned so far. We brainstormed words that begin with the letter P. 

We will be singing the letter Pp song tomorrow! Get ready for another awesome song to be stuck in your head for the whole day! :)

During our Math time today we worked on Ten Frames. We are starting to use Ten Frames to separate the TEENS into two groups then phrasing it  "___ is  10  and ___" (example:  16  is  10  and   6  )
> I explain this as the WHOLE number is 16, we use our ten frame with counters, we know that there are 10 counters in our ten frame and then what is left over? That is the second group.

During UOI today... WOW. We had a BLAST!!!! We played charades again, except this time, we knew what to expect and really enjoyed acting out the steps to create milk. 

How We Get Milk to Our Table

1. Milk the Cow

2. Put the milk in a truck and send it to the Dairy.

3. Heat the milk and kill the germs.

4. Chill the milk and make it nice and cold.

5. Put the milk in a truck and send it to the grocery store's shelves.

6. Buy the Milk and drink it!
