Woo! We Made Pancakes Today!
During Inquiry into Language Arts we had four students show and share their items from home that begin with the letter Aa or Ss! We had a Snowman, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Stamps, and a toy Apple!! :)
During Math we learned Five Frames!! The students will be able to explain what this is. We learned how to represent the number by drawing the circles in the 5 frame. Each frame has 1 dot, just like a photo frame... We practiced this by using manipulatives and drawing our Five Frame.
During UOI we made PANCAKES!!!! It was so fun! We each got a turn to stir the pancake batter! The pancakes were DELICIOUS!
For our journal we wrote about what we learned this week. I was very excited that some of my friends wanted to write about Math & "Ants on my Arm"! A lot of my friends learned about being kind and sharing this week! That makes me very happy!
