Dance Party for Ms. Gray's Bday!

We all loved dancing... except some of us were being a little camera shy...

During our Inquiry into Language Arts we practiced the Tt sound, song, and brainstormed words that begin with Tt. We worked really hard on our Tt worksheet today and made them look beautiful like the other classes. Ms. Gray was impressed.


During Math we displayed our knowledge for numeration and showed Ms. Gray what we know and what we still need to learn. We also did Math centers today. During Math centers we practiced our ten frames and used playdough to show numbers and counters in our ten frames. The students really enjoyed this. They were quietly working on their own work and staying focused.

During UOI we worked on a matching the cow to the products that it produces, we started working on our booklet for What Cows Produce. We also wrote about our favourite milk product. Some of our friends came up with ideas of what their favorite milk products were and others used the brainstormed products.

During French we practiced Numbers with Mlle. Jessica! We were very focused and all wanted to share and participate. :)

1. I sent home a letter with the Terry Fox information.

2. I also sent home the Field Trip permission form. Please return these tomorrow. If anyone is interested in being a chaperone, please let me know!
