Welcome Back Wednesday!

Happy to be back with the kiddos today!

We enjoyed a morning of hugs and catching up! They filled me in on how the past week has been and all that they learned with Ms. P. It sounds like they had a great week!

We started our day off learning and brainstorming words for the blend ng! This was awesome because our friends were able to come up with LOTS of words that have NG in them. After we brainstormed the words we finished our phonics journals and worked on a fun activity where we would sort the words that have NG in them... this gave us EVEN MORE words to add to our list!

During Math today we reviewed subtraction. We used manipulatives to practice our facts. We got to use our white boards and dice. We had fun doing this with all different numbers. Our friends are READY TO GO for the math test on Friday!

During UOI we talked about what trees look like in different seasons. We talked about our 5 senses and the different smells of each season. We drew a picture of a tree on the board... then we went through the different seasons and the colors (or lack there of) that you see in the different seasons. After this we wrote in our journals about our favourite thing about winter!

Indoor recess, snack, French and Music.
