December 18th, 2018

Tuesday!

Ms. Gray is back!! Last week was a rough week but she is feeling a little better and back at school! We had so much fun today. We did a really fun Christmas craft and got to watch Ms. Gray use the glue-gun which was mesmerizing for most of our friends. Afterward we played with the dried glue and Ms. Gray showed us that once the hot glue leaves the glue-gun it dries and it is not still hot! We also looked at pictures of ourselves from the beginning of the school year... WE HAVE ALREADY CHANGED SO MUCH!! During UOI we learned about Neptune and during math practiced addition using 10 frames. We have our math test tomorrow and we showed Ms. Gray that we are ready to go!! During our journal we wrote which planet we picked for our summative project!

Last Weeks Blogs:

(What I had done before I got sick...)

Thursday!

We started off our day with morning meeting and a writing activity. We watched a video about Uranus and then we wrote our favourite fact about the planet in our journals.

Wednesday

We started our day off with Ms. Bannon's class and Ms. Samuel's class having reading buddies. Then we had our friends stay for our morning meeting and our phonics lesson. We watched a cool video about the letter Yy that included a TON of new Yy words!

After gym, recess and lunch we had French with mlle. Jessica and Ms. Bannon's class so that we could start our UOI movie together! During our UOI time we watched a movie with the other SK classes about Space Dogs travelling to the moon! We saw an astronaut floating around on the moon without any gravity! It was pretty entertaining and educational.

During our Math time on Wednesday we worked on our Christmas Packet of addition.
